Salesforce Analytics
Generally speaking, Salesforce Analytics has three stacks of products: Apps, Designer, and Data Manager.
Apps
On the top is the Apps stack, which offers pre-built, customizable apps for Salesforce customers. An app is a collection of interactive dashboards. Apps are built for different business purposes and teams like sales, services and marketing.

Designer
The stack in the middle is "Designer", which has two parts: Studio and Explorer. Studio is for dashboard creators to design, build and publish custom dashboards, reports and apps. Explorer is for business analysts and data scientists to perform in-depth visual, statistical, and predictive data analysis to solve business questions.
Below are example screens of Explorer, such as dataset operations, data visualization, and predictive modeling.

Data Manager
At the bottom, the Data Manager stack enables everything users can do with Apps and Designers. Data Manager lets users connect to a variety of data sources, including both Salesforce's own and external sources. Then users can perform common data related tasks such as cleansing, formatting, transforming, blending, and publishing datasets. The end goal is simple but critical: create clean, analytics-ready, enterprise-scale datasets.
